Die Geschichte von Tudor
Tudor, 1926 von Hans Wilsdorf – dem Gründer von Rolex – ins Leben gerufen, verfolgte von Anfang an eine klare Vision: Uhren mit der Zuverlässigkeit und Qualität einer Rolex, jedoch zu einem erschwinglicheren Preis. Wilsdorf gründete 1946 die Firma Montres Tudor SA und übertrug der neuen Marke die bewährten Rolex-Merkmale wie das legendäre Oyster-Gehäuse und den Perpetual-Rotor mit Selbstaufzugsmechanismus.

Einen ersten grossen Meilenstein setzte Tudor 1954 mit der Einführung der Oyster Prince Submariner – der ersten Taucheruhr aus dem Hause Tudor. Das Modell bewährte sich bereits in der Testphase von 1952 bis 1954 im Rahmen der British North Greenland Expedition unter extremen Bedingungen und wurde in der Folge unter anderem von der französischen Marine sowie den SEAL-Einheiten der US Navy eingesetzt. Auch der berühmte Meeresforscher Jacques-Yves Cousteau nutzte diese Uhren bei seinen weltweiten Expeditionen.

2015 stellte Tudor das erste Manufakturwerk seiner Geschichte vor – ein Hochleistungskaliber mit rund 70 Stunden Gangreserve und COSC-Zertifizierung. Den endgültigen Durchbruch als eigenständige Marke gelang Tudor 2012 mit der Einführung der Black Bay, die an die historischen Taucheruhren der Marke anknüpfte und zu einem weltweiten Verkaufserfolg wurde. The duration depends on the scope of the work and the availability of any spare parts. As a rule, the entire process takes between 3 and 10 weeks and you will receive an individual assessment following your inquiry - and will always be kept informed throughout the repair thanks to regular status updates.
Once we have received your watch, we will keep you regularly informed about the progress of the repair or maintenance. You can also view the current status at any time in your personal customer area.
Yes - we grant a service guarantee of at least 12 months on every repair or overhaul carried out. For many models, the warranty is 24 months, in some cases even up to 36 months. Should a defect occur during the warranty period, we will of course repair or replace the affected parts free of charge.
